What was once a green open field became an overgrown, muddy and narrow "footpath" with adjoining empty paddocks. All part of a greater plan to make the area more difficult to use?
To cover this popular local amenity with housing, replacing a wildlife refuge for many species with an expanse of block paving and tarmac is a crime against nature.
