Please don t release any green belt land surrounding the Black Country for housing and industrial development.
The Black Country has suffered enough over the last two centuries from uncaring Landlords and industrialists who raped this land of this once green and lush area ,for their own advantage.
The Green Belt area around Halesowen is the last relief for our people .the green lung , the place where we breathe deeply at weekends and watch the changing seasons.
The Black Country is full of abandoned waste areas that are crying out for redevelopment.
Once green land is built on it has gone for ever .Developers find it so much easier to build on virgin land ,making more profit for themselves with little heed to the area or the people who value that land.
I expect you will just ignore this email ....but what can ordinary people do ?
Please reconsider the value of our beloved Greenbelt
