3. Concerns regarding the management of the consultation period

I would also like to complain about how the council have communicated with residents in our area about the Black Country Plan. Although we note that the consultation has been running from 16th August, documents making us aware of the plan were only posted through our door in the week commencing 4th October. This has meant that I have had a very short period of time to respond to this plan, as I was unaware of its existence until last week. If this has been replicated throughout the borough then many residents will not have had time to submit a formal objection. In order to show the strength of feeling regarding this matter I would like to draw your attention to the petition ·https://www.change.org/p/black-country-plan-dudley-gov-uk-save-our-green-belt-alongside-walsall-arboretum, which has amassed 1,800 signatures in just 1 month.
