I question the justification of such large scale housing on Green Belt Land. Now more than ever people have come to realise how they need green and open areas like this on their doorstep, and few towns on the scale of Walsall offer such a thing so close to the town centre. Such urbanisation around the Arboretum could also have long-term negative effects on what is the jewel of the town.
