in assessing sites for new housing consideration must be given for good transport links for health, employment education. A plan as part of health in all policies should include routes for residents to travel by foot and bike along off road routes. Also all new housing should have consideration for longer term disability requirements such as dementia, lack of mobility etc built into the plans to avoid future expensive investment in aids and adaptions.
