It is with great dismay that I heard about proposed development in Halesowen and wish to object to this very strongly. I cannot believe that we need to build houses in green belt when we have so much brown land in surrounding areas that is an eyesore and in some cases becoming a dumping ground for waste. Why not use it and bring the whole area up, this is the perfect opportunity.
Could it be that it is cheaper to use virgin land. Think very hard about the impact of this on future generations as once it is done it cannot be undone. We need housing but when we have an alternative (brown belt) the quick and easy fix is not the best solution.

I cannot believe that we need to build houses in a green belt area when we have so much brown land in the surrounding areas that is looking like an eye sore and in some cases becoming a dumping ground for peoples waste, why not use it and bring the whole area up, this is the perfect opportunity to develop it.
Could it be that it is cheaper to use virgin land - I hope that this is not the reason, because if it is the people who have proposed this should be ashamed of themselves.
Please DO NOT DO THIS
Think very hard about this, not just for us but the long term and future generations once it is done it cannot be undone,
I know we need housing but when we have an alternative,( brown belt) the quick and easy fix is not the best solution.
