Black Country Core Strategy Issue and Option Report
4. Reviewing the Strategy to Meet New Challenges and Opportunities
Representation ID: 2431
Received: 24/08/2017
Respondent: Stourbridge HF Rambling Club
As President of Stourbridge HF Rambling Club, I am writing on behalf of my committee and our 294 members to express our concerns regarding the possibility of building being carried out on Green Belt and agricultural land, as this is where we walk. This could affect existing rights of way, which should be maintained or possibly diverted following due consultation with affected groups, not just local residents.
We continue to provide our Club's support to local councils who recognise the importance and benefits of regular exercise, and would hope that all future planning considerations are not in conflict with their worthy aspirations.

As a walking club we are particularly concerned about the possibility of building being carried out on Green Belt and agricultural land, as this is where we walk.
Planning permission may be granted which would affect existing rights of way - these should be maintained or possibly diverted following due consultation with affected groups, not just local residents.
