We do however support the allocation of land at Corbett Meadow, Stourbridge as Local Green Space Allocation.
John Corbett was a Liberal Party Member who gave the land to the people of Stourbridge for all time it is not to be sold off by the Dudley Group of Hospitals. It's a disgrace that it should ever be considered!

Dudley, Halesowen + Stourbridge Liberal Democrats object to all SH sites marked A,B,C,D,E+F In the Black Country Plan Summary. They are all Greenbelt Land, I'm Dudley M.B.C. The council officers have not demonstrated any need for these sites to be included in the plan that stand up to serious examination. Indeed we say that the incompetent conservative administration is guilty of gross negligence in allowing officers to include these sites in the Black Country Plan.
However we all make mistakes! We call upon the cabinet of Dudley Council to reject all SH Greenbelt Land Sites and reconsider all the rejected Brownfield Sites as a priority. We also call upon Dudley Council to insist that the number of new houses to be built in the Borough is too high.

DUH041 Land rear of Two Gates Lane, Gradley; DUH214 Seymour Road, Wollescote; DUH059 New Hawne Colliery (part only). I do not believe it is possible to put in place sufficient mitigation to make up for the loss of any greenbelt or green space to a community.
