Representation Summary:

[Call for sites ref 255 (unallocated site)]

I am objecting to the process as a whole and to the allocation of site 255 in particular. The location is described as the "Land south of Cradley Town Football Club". That description is a poor approximation since not all the land is to the south of the football club. The most significant inaccuracy is either the drawing of the boundary or the description of the current use. The description of the current use is "current use open space previously farm land and small area of garages to adjoining houses". However, the plot as drawn on the map includes a section of the allotment for which I am one of the trusttees that hold the lease for the ground.

If the system is to work and the plan is to be worthwhile then it is essential that the identification of the sites is accurate. If land is identified for which people own the lease and have used for a number of years, I would expect the council or the people behind the plan to contact them to say the land had been identified in this way.

I only found out the land had been identified when the call for sites was first made public. At that time I contacted Dudley planning office only to be told nothing could be done.

Hence, I am lodging an objection to the whole site being used and the process as a whole since it is clearly flawed with no checking of the land that is being identified and worse even when a mistake is identified the inability to take corrective action.
