Representation Summary:

Traffic volume is high at moment and will become very high. Longwood Lane cannot take more traffic as the uncontrolled junction with Sutton Road is already a big concern. Longwood lane has no pedestrian footpaths and has overhanging trees making it not safe for pedestrians. Local schools are already at capacity and need extra facilities.Dwellings at 35dph is over capacity for the type of are concerned. Public health will suffer from new car exhausts from the site.

Draft Black Country Plan

Respondent: Mr Bodie Kelay

Representation Summary:

This is total idealism, without real substance
Somebody has read a good book here or recently completed a college project!
Wake up and smell the coffee please!
Your philosophy totally contradicts itself in respect of Pelsall- your plans would destroy the natural and built environment & infrastructure, create poor health care and poor wellbeing, RESULT in a Poorer non sustainable Black Country area. More pollution, more stress, less social inclusion!
Of all your claims, this really is the worst one.

Draft Black Country Plan

Respondent: The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country

Representation Summary:

Comment: WTBBC welcome the equal value that is given to the eight objectives, and that climate change and the natural environment are recognised as being of equivalent importance to housing, economy and transport.
WTBBC are of the view that the built and natural environment are, however, distinct in this context and that the BCP would be stronger and more impactful if these were included as separate objectives.
