I wholeheartedly support the impetus towards high broadband coverage. While Iam able to access the highest speeds in Aldridge, my son in Brownhills cannot access greater than 60mbps and he was told that a request by Virgin to lay fibre optic cables along his road was refused by the Council. I am very concerned that BT and Openreach are comntinuing to operate a stranglehold on services in many areas of the Black Country, which needs to be broken in order to services and speeds to be improved.
