Draft Black Country Plan

Representation ID: 11372

Received: 30/09/2021

Respondent: Mrs Jacqueline Elson-Whittaker

Representation Summary:

Housing near our green spaces will include potentially at least 3 cars each - the area where I live would be congested and impossible to travel . More waste. Considerable disruption to local wildlife - eg woodpeckers , moths , deer, hawks butterflies, more road traffic accidents, increased lung and heart related diseases . Ancient woodland and fields must be protected for future generations. The notion to develop on this land is devastating mentally, physically and emotionally.

Draft Black Country Plan

Representation ID: 12137

Received: 11/10/2021

Respondent: Mr John Holloway

Representation Summary:

The areas at Cat and Kittens Lane, Legs Lane and Northycote Lane are designated as core habitat zones and are under threat of being developed for housing. This will be catastrophic for the environment and the local area. These areas should be protected and extended for the benefit of the environment and local community.

Draft Black Country Plan

Representation ID: 12141

Received: 11/10/2021

Respondent: Mrs LYNNE HOLLOWAY

Representation Summary:

The area of Legs Lane, Cat Kittens Lane and Northycote Lane have been designated as Core Habitat Zones but are under threat of destruction rather than extension to be replaced by housing.
To relieve the pressure on our environment more trees need to be planted and habitats established and those already designated should be preserved for the benefit of future generations . Where land is no longer to be farmed trees could be planted and this woodland used for recreational use.
