I object to the developments at site numbers WAH236, WAH238 and WAH240.
I believe the greenbelt should not be used for this purpose.

We moved back to walsall [redacted personal information]. The green space behind our houses are what makes it feel less like a town, more like beautiful country village life. Building more houses here will take away our "on the doorstep" family walks and will create more pollution. Please don't build here. More houses, more residents, more crime, more traffic in an already busy area. This area feels a safe and beautiful place to bring up our kids, please don't take that away

There should be no need to build houses on any Green Belt. The population of Walsall is not infinite.

The land by vicarage road/coronation road in High Heath already floods the roads and local houses when there is heavy rain. The road is also very busy with traffic with queues causing pollution and more houses here will make both things far worse

As a community we need to preserve our green spaces for use by the community and wildlife. We regularly see herds of deer grazing and exercising on the proposed site near York’s Bridge Pelsall.
Additionally more houses means more traffic and the area around Lichfield road, norton road and lime lane is already congested, there have been 2 fatal car accidents in the last 5 years alone. Increased traffic means increased likelihood of more fatalities.
Also the environmental issues this would bring. Increased risk of flooding, increased pollution.

I strongly object to the area along Aldridge Road being used. The consultation process for this area is flawed and discriminatory.

The expansions planned and encroachment onto green belt land provides no benefit for existing residents. To build on green belt is detrimental to the physical and mental health of existing residents, removing the lungs of Walsall and replacing them with air pollution and biodiversity loss.
A large proportion of new homes are planned for Streetly which will overwhelm local infrastructure as well as losing the character of the area, merging it into an overall urban sprawl.
WAH234 - proposed building on this area threatens the wildlife corridor to Sutton Park.

Government targets do not reflect local assessments; government has not provided methodology or justification for their growth targets nor sufficiently explained how these respond to housing need//provide affordable or sustainable housing/address the housing need. MPs, WMCA and local councils have identified there is sufficient brownfield land available to be brought back into use to meet the region's housing need. Brownfield sites should be repurposed: reuse of this land supports regeneration and tackles dereliction. Equally it preserves Green Belt. A disproportionate loss of Green Belt is being proposed for Walsall which will have a significant detrimental impact on the borough.

object against the "Walsall growth targets for housing and employment land allocations", specifically the North Aldridge and Walsall Wood green belt Land including the Lazy Hill Road, Chester Road and Stonnal area of Aldridge. The proposal to remove sites from the green belt listing further diminishes our green and pleasant land surrounding Aldridge. It seem criminal to take more green land from this area when brown belt can be used outside of a rural village known for its green spaces
