As I commented on a number of different policies, for each response given I have preceded this with either Support, Object of Comment as requested in the How to Comment section of the Black Country Plan website, rather than completing the boxes above, apart from the paragraph below:
13 Sub areas and site allocations
I have read the response submitted by the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country (on their website). I would like to agree with their submission on this area of the BCP. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize the need to protect the green-belt and that green-belt sites should not be included. The inclusion of sites that are: protected for wildlife, have the potential to be important for wildlife (PSIs) and public open spaces should also be avoided. Brownfield and other sites that include semi-natural habitats should be surveyed before a decision is taken to release them for development.
