Representation Summary:

object 100% to the proposals to build houses on the Tanhouse Playing Fields in Hamstead and on the playing fields and electricity substation land opposite Painswick Close in Yew Tree/Tamebridge.

I opposition any building on local open spaces/green belt/green recreation areas; when there are an abundent amount of brownfield sites which could be used. The Black Country Plan for housing development should be totally focussed on 'accelerating the reclamation of brownfield sites', and be committed and focussed to protect open space & green belt.

These green areas, and ALL green areas are crucial spaces for thriving biodiversity and once they are built on, will disappear for ever. We have a dire situation with a savage assault on nature and wildlife and we should be protecting them; instead of destroying them. Our green areas are getting squeezed and being reduced all the time; which means precious urban wildlife will be confined in smaller and smaller spaces. Green spaces are cruicial for health/well being and metal health, and immensley important to local people/communities who live in dense urban areas. Easy access to local green spaces are also vital for local communities/people; as not everyone has the means to travel further afield, far to get to national parks/beauty spots.
