The expansions planned and encroachment onto green belt land provides no benefit for existing residents. To build on green belt is detrimental to the physical and mental health of existing residents, removing the lungs of Walsall and replacing them with air pollution and biodiversity loss.

A large proportion of new homes are planned for Streetly which will overwhelm local infrastructure as well as losing the character of the area, merging it into an overall urban sprawl.

WAH234 - proposed building on this area threatens the wildlife corridor to Sutton Park.
